Congratulations to Prep students Thomas Reid, Angus Haddow and Callum Haddow (‘The Community Techsperts’), who won a National Engineering Award for their road safety education package for St Lucy's School and Knox students in the National BHP Science and Engineering Awards.
Knox Grammar School
The boys surveyed the school community and designed a robotics and software based educational package to help teach students road safety.
A second Knox team, ‘Exercise Tech’ (Thomas Reid, Ellis Merrett and Tawhid Rahman), were awarded a Primary Encouragement Award for their work to measure the accuracy of wearable fitness trackers and create their own improved fitness tracking suit.

Competitors from 262 schools and organisations across the world gathered at Indiana University Bloomington in the USA, for the World Finals at the Future Problem Solving International Conference.

Last week, the Wahroonga Prep Stage 3 students embarked on a three-day Science Excursion to Canberra. The trip included nine diverse locations that challenged the students and promoted deep thinking.
